Barndoor Style Bed

Price is for Twin, but other sizes are available. Each of these barndoor barnwood beds is individually handcrafted upon order by Minnesota craftspeople. Made in the USA of reclaimed timbers from 1800's barns, these barnwood beds are created to last a lifetime. Notice the cross pieces reminiscent of huge barndoors as they swung open to be filled with row after row of tobacco stalks up to the eaves. After taking the crop to the auction house the farmer had plenty of room to host a weekend shindig in his historical barn. Purchase a piece of the past with one of these complete beds or barnwood headboards. The headboards are 61" tall and the footboards 38". These are also offered with the optional underbed 3-drawer storage dresser, which is added as the barnwood bed is constructed. A stately bed with a lifetime warranty.

Reclaimed Red Oak planks, from tobacco barns built in the 1800's, are used in constructing this Barndoor style bed. Dull catalyzed lacquer finish is extra durable and retains the wood's character. Queen and King beds come with "T" slat support. Made in the USA!
