Like the side chair, the District Splat-Back Counter Stool is constructed of solid birch, with a wood seat and stretchers for added strength. Good looking and practical, the price is right for this lovely counter stool.

Dining with The District furniture is, as the name suggests, sort of an "in" thing to do. Somewhat industrial looking, some bases are cast iron, such as the dining table with a heavy antique-style cast iron base. The wood is solid knotty birch and it is given a rich, copper finish that brings out the beautiful grains and faults.
