Parota Chest

The Parota Chest offers five large, deep drawers in a case that is accented with plenty of iron work, including riveted-bands, plain rivets around the top, and two rows of rust-finished nailheads on each side of the drawer fronts. The dark mango wood with which the drawer fronts are formed is so beautiful, it still becomes the eye-catching part of this piece.

Our Parota Collection has been very popular, and these newly minted pieces should fit right in. The parota wood is native to Mexico and South America and offers a lifetime of durability. The drawer fronts are solid mango and are held with dovetail joinery, and the drawers pull on ball bearing glides. As always, mortise and tenon construction holds the frames together. The iron accents are hand-forged, as are the iron bases on the case goods. These beautiful pieces would be an asset to any home.
