The Blackfeet tribe of the northern United States and Canada have been expert horsemen since the reintroduction of the horse to North America by the Spanish Conquistadors. Their entire culture became centered around the horse and the partner and friend it became. This blanket is based on a Blackfeet tribe design and beautifully honors that animal. Napped, it is 82% virgin wool and 18% cotton, and is felt bound. Dry clean.
