A Chippewa trickster/hero named Manabozho was concerned that his people were cold, so he stole a spark of hoarded fire from an old man and shared it with his people. From that legend comes the stunning Fire Legend Blanket Robe, shown here front and back. Unnapped with whipstitch binding, it is 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton. Dry clean.

Wool fiber is naturally elastic and prone to keeping its shape, which means it is wrinkle-resistant. Some of our Pendleton items are hand washable, but if the label says 'Dry Clean,' the item does not have a washable finish, and washing it can result in shrinkage and loss of fabric smoothness.
