The double doors covering the lower cupboard of this Karen Kreek Deer Hopper Cabinet are each painted with a scene depicting a buck deer that seems to have been startled while drinking at a stream. Topped with a single drawer, this stand offers plenty of storage, and the painted scene and hand-worn twigs all produce an aged, old camp look that is currently very popular.
Hand crafted outside of Bozeman, Montana, each piece of Karen Kreek Furniture is built with reclaimed blue pine. Found in the woods of Montana, this is considered a sustainable product and each piece of wood is planked and hand planed to reveal the beauty of the stressed wood. Stained with an environmentally friendly stain, painted with a water-based paint, and completed with a wax finish, the wood displays all the vagaries that make natural wood so beautiful. The 'twigs' are hand-carved, enhancing the aged effect. The drawers have steel ball-bearing glides, safeties, and full extension capabilities. Handles and pulls are all iron--rusted or black--and some are original concho designs. Computer monitors may display colors differently, so actual colors may vary.
