This natural 100% hemp jute rug has a 7/8" pile, and no backing. The durable hemp fiber insures years of active wear, and hemp rugs are naturally absorbent, so it is suggested you clean regularly to keep them looking great. Avoid water or steam cleaning, and raise or turn off the beater bar on your vacuum cleaner. Blot spills immediately and avoid direct sunlight.
