Integral ladders in both head and foot board for maximum flexibility in room. Four, 2" round wood slats support bunkie board and mattress. Bunkie board included. Bed is designed to use standard full size mattress you supply with a recommended thickness of 7" for loft bunk safety. Bed is shipped with head and foot board fully assembled. Safety rails and bottom side rail are attached to head and foot board on site. Bolt package, plugs, and instructions included. Takes about 40 minutes with 2 or 3 people to assemble.
