The included metal frame has center support which gives mattress and foundation the ultimate support while allowing for easy use of a bed skirt if so desired. Made 100% by our craftspeople in Montana from standing bug killed salvaged wood, the most environmentally sustainable furniture product possible. Each one of these beds are truly an original and present a rustic warmth to be enjoyed by all. Mattresses are Made in the USA and are a middle grade priced mattress. Our mattresses are exceptionally well built, other mattress price options are available, more economical and upgraded.
