Mica's authentic Los Feliz Black Iron Finish is achieved by using a centuries old process of applying a high heat flame directly to the surface of the wrought iron. This "burned" or "fire finish" is naturally uneven; colors range from gray to black to blue to red. Chipping or peeling is natural and part of the "old world or "antiqued-aged" appearance. Requires "oil" maintenance to retard rust. Minor assembly required. Made in the USA.
