Made from Acacia hardwood similar to rosewood which is indigenous to India and is dense, heavy and durable. This product is rustic, and hand-finished. The furniture is handmade and cracks within the wood, knots, indentations and other superficial imperfections, along with filled nail holes add to the rustic charm. Since the wood is kiln-dried, in certain climates it may naturally expand or contract and may develop slight openings and cracks. This will not compromise its structural integrity. Pieces within the same collection, will have a consistent overall tone (i.e. light vs dark) but there will be some variances in the finishes and the manufacturer cannot guarantee exact matching to pictures or to other pieces.
