This product is made from Acacia which is similar to rosewood, indigenous to India. It is a hardwood, dense, heavy and durable. This product is rustic, and hand-finished. This lodge furniture is handmade and cracks within the wood, knots, indentations and other superficial imperfections, along with filled nail holes add to the rustic charm. Since the wood is kiln-dried, in certain climates it may naturally expand or contract and may develop slight openings and cracks. This will not compromise its structural integrity.
