Made from Acacia hardwood similar to rosewood which is indigenous to India and is dense, heavy and durable. This product is rustic, and hand-finished. The furniture is handmade and cracks within the wood, knots, indentations and other superficial imperfections, along with filled nail holes add to the rustic charm. Since the wood is kiln-dried, in certain climates it may naturally expand or contract and may develop slight openings and cracks. This will not compromise its structural integrity. Pieces within the same collection, will have a consistent overall tone (i.e. light vs dark) but there will be some variances in the finishes and the Eastern Rustic Furniture cannot guarantee exact matching to pictures or to other pieces. These pieces are easy to care for and will maintain their beauty with regular dusting with a clean soft line-free cloth. A clear lacquer finish is used.
